Sanford Astor has more than 30 years of experience in the area of PATENTS, including 5 years of service as a patent examiner for the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Over his career as a patent attorney, he has helped clients successfully obtain more than 150 U.S. patents.
His clients include entrepreneurs, startup businesses and large companies, including international corporations needing assistance with U.S.-patents and intellectual property issues in the United States.
Mr. Astor’s educational background includes a degree in chemical engineering, giving him unique insight into complex intellectual property issues involving chemical patents. Over the course of his career, he has helped his clients obtain more than 150 patents, including patents in the areas of nanotechnology; medical devices; dental devices; furniture accessories; toys; business methods; and a broad range of additional technologies. He is registered to practice before the U. S. Patent and Trademark Office, the U. S. District Court, the U. S, Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
